This fabulous Large French Bisque Porcelain JEWELRY BOX / Potpourri box. Spectacular large box, featuring a classical scene of maidens trading angels (with wings) on the lid. Cherubs wrap around the entire piece, side walls of the box, all high relief figures, just spectacular. It is done in a Sevres manner through and through, great quality. Box has two ceramic halves, joined together with a gilt bronze hinged double lip band. Front of the band features a wreath with a bow form clasp that holds the box closed. Piece is French made, in Paris. It is marked on the bottom with maker's mark "Limoges France" (see last photo).

Adorable piece in every way, subject, shape, and top notch quality. It is in good antique condition, porcelain near mint. No chips, no cracks, no repairs. 7.25" long, 5.5" wide, and 3.625 tall. Good addition to any porcelain, trinket box or Limoges collection.
