Wonderful Vintage French Limoges Porcelain Hand-painted Shell Shaped Trinket Box
This is for a simply delightful, Vintage Limoges French porcelain, Hand-Painted Trinket Jewelry box. It's shaped like a Conch shell, painted in gorgeous purples, golds and rust tones. The lid has a beach treasure chest with starfish scene... There's a tiny red starfish on inside base too. The brass fittings are lovely...
The clasp is shaped like a Seahorse... It measures 2 1/2" wide x 1 1/4" tall. In very good used condition.
No chips, cracks or crazing. I have a few lovely old Limoges boxes, at this time. This is just one, out of a delightful collection of vintage porcelain and pottery small jewelry and trinket boxes that I have. Some lovely hand-painted Limoges, and some really different styles and shapes.
