Vintage Traveling Trunk Dress Shoes Limoges Box -3 REMOVABLE PIECES! - Peint Main
Vintage Traveling Trunk Limoges Box. This particular box includes 3 removable pieces: a feathered dress and a pair of shoes! The dress hangs off a wire loop at the top of the left side of the trunk! The shoes fit into a special cubby on the right side of the trunk. The clasp works great its nice and tight. The box is signed Peint Main, which means hand-painted, making this box very desirable. There is a sticker on the back that details in French all the removable pieces within. It would be easy to remove the sticker if so desired. Its unusual and highly desirable for Limoges Boxes to feature removable shapes, much less 3 shapes!! It's also very desirable to have a piece that dangles from a wire hanger. This is a particularly rare and prized piece!
