Vintage Limoges France Trinket Box Bear with Child On Round Platform Hand Painte

  

This listing is for a vintage Limoges France porcelain hand painted trinket box, in the form of a maybe father and son teddy bear sitting on top of a plaid blanket thrown over a round stool/platform. The father bear has his arm around the child bear. Measures approximately 2 3/4" tall and approximately 2 1/4" wide. Small spot of blue paint from dad's shirt on back of child's head. Small spot of missing paint on back of dad's head.

The closure doesn't seem to'lock' in place. The trinket box does close completely, but when lifting the lid, it will lift right up, although not all the way. There is an inside treat of an alphabet block on the inside bottom of the box. Painted on the bottom is: Peint Main Limoges France Eximious.
