This is a hard to find Limoges, France porcelain trinket box by AF Limoges. The box is hand painted, signed, and initialed by the artist on the base.

This style indicates that the piece was likely made in 1992, very early in the company's history. The piece is made of white porcelain in the shape of wicker basket with a decorative metal handle and a clasp in the shape of two cherries. The basket is filled with vegetables, just like a shopping basket after a day at the market. The interior of the box is decorated with a single gold scroll at the base. The box is in very good vintage condition, with no visible wear or flaws. The box measures 3.2" tall and 3" x 2.25 wide.
