This box has an afternoon tea theme, with a. Table featuring a teapot and two cups, plus silverware and a piece of cake or pie which do you think it is? The tea cups and pot have gold painted accents and are decorated with roses. The table is covered with a pale yellow tablecloth, and a white over skirt, decorated with dots and roses.

The surprise inside is a painted piece of cake on a plate (looks like a two layer cake to me). The bottom of the piece includes a serial number and what are likely the painters' initials, in addition to the familiar Peint Main (translation - hand painted) Limoges France markings. Dimensions of the box are. 1 3/4" diameter at widest point, and 2" High.
