Vintage Le Tallec Trinket Box, Heart Shape

  

This porcelain box was produced in France by Le Tallec in 1996. It has date letters indicating this year.

The bottom is fully signed and. It measures 3 3/4 long, 3 ½ wide and 1 ½ high. The box has a gilded metal frame and is hinged. It is hand painted with colorful birds of paradise, pink blossoms and butterflies on a shiny gold background accented with tiny gold leaves. The heart shape is charming.
