This is a very rare Limoges, France porcelain trinket box by Artoria. The box is hand painted, signed, and initialed by the artist on the base.

This style of mark and series number indicate that the piece was made in the 1970s. The piece is made of white porcelain in the shape of a stage coach, drawn by two black horses and loaded with various parcels. The clasp is in the shape of a cow's head, and the interior is painted with a small vignette featuring a bleached cow skull in the desert. The box is in very good vintage condition, with no visible wear or flaws. The box measures 2.25" tall and 3.8" x 1.8 wide.
