LIMOGES PEINT MAIN TRINKET BOX PURSE 11/500. This listing features a charming Limoges trinket box, hand-signed with the very low edition number, 11 out of 500. I should have said it's an extra charming Limoges purse trinket box with an extra charming valuable number and extra fancy embellishments! It measures approximately 1 3/4 inches tall (not including the chain) by 1 1/2 wide by 1 inch thick. The detailed work on these hand-painted flowers is what collecting Limoges trinket boxes is all about.

The brass frame and chain handle are sturdy, ornate, and have a working clasp shaped like a flower. This brass has richer 24k gold plating than most Limoges boxes have. The interior bears the hand-painted (Peint Main), location (Limoges, France) where the artist (DP or DJ) decorated it with a single pink rose.
