This beautiful Limoges Potato with Ladybug trinket box makes a cute trinket or pill box. It is hand painted in Limoges, France. The golden rims are held together with a small basket of flowers clasp and open and closes smoothly. It is in wonderful pre-loved condition without any chips, cracks or repairs. Inside is marked Limoges France, Peint Main and signed by the artist V. These beautiful porcelain boxes are made by hand and in a manual process that has remained unchanged for more than 100 years. Wonderful to store jewelry, important love letters, trinkets, herbs, pills or snuff.
