1 OF ONLY 50 LIMOGES LEMON TRINKET BOX. This listing features a Limoges lemon trinket box that is the number 1 of an edition limited to 50. That's right - the first and most important one.

How often do you see number 1 of anything? Here's one you could own and look at every day.

It measures approximately 2 1/2 inches long by 1 1/2 inches wide by 2 inches tall. It's bright and cheerful hand-painted porcelain with the texture of a real lemon.

Hand lettered underneath are'Peint Main, Limoges, France, 98, and 1/50' as well as the artist's initials,'MB'. The gilt brass frame is detailed, sturdy and has a working clasp shaped like a honey bee. This is a hinged box so what's inside? It's hollow so there's plenty of space for the new owner to add a few secrets of their own (I'm told it was always empty). There are no others like it for sale now or in the recent past.
