Limoges France Peint Main CS Trinket Box Metropolitan Entrance with Metro Map

  

This listing is for the Limoges trinket box that you see in the photos. I was not told its history and I do not know how old it is. The bottom of the box is marked, Limoges France Peint Main with a monogram that looks like CE.

Not counting the fence, the porcelain box including the metal trim and hinge measures close to 2 ¾ inches long by 2 inches wide by 7/8 inches high. The metal entrance measures about 2 inches high. The condition is much like you see it in the photos. Box and map are in excellent condition with no damage. I glued it back into place. There were remnants of glue to give me an indication of where to place it so I think that it is OK.

A small blob of glue was on three of the corners but not on the forth so there is a small gap below that corner. Otherwise, this box and map are fine and as shown. My photos should give you a good idea of its general condition. I guarantee this box to be as described and represented by the photos. The photos are part of the description.
