Limoges France Box Pv Elephant Aviator Ww I Airplane Pilot & Parachute
This unusual, whimsical, Parry-Vieille, Limoges box is an elephant dressed as a WW I fighter pilot, reminiscent of Snoopy as the Flying Ace. He is wearing a bomber jacket, a white scarf, a red helmet, goggles and a parachute, with red straps. A watch with a brown'leather' band is on his'wrist' and a shoulder patch has a "PAF" insignia Pachyderm Air Force? The clasp is a button.
