This wonderful, Limoges Imports box is a Parisian scene of a green newspaper stand/kiosk (Morris column), with a domed roof, "JOURNAUX DE PARIS" all around the top, a female vendor, and billboard advertisements for products and city attractions. On the sidewalk is a man reading a newspaper and a dog relieving himself on a street light. A leaf is the clasp, and a "Le Monde" newspaper is painted inside. "Le Monde", meaning "the world", is a French daily newspaper. The box is 1.4" by 2.75" with a height of 2.9.
