Offered for your consideration: A Rare to Find, Tiffany & Co Private Stock Commissioned Limoges France Trinket Box. Being signed "Private Stock", this may have been a one of a kind, as there is no style or design name. It was hand painted by Le Tallec, all hand signed on the bottom of the box including number 223. The Le Tallec hand painted creation is a Fantasy scene with fantasy animals, one a Pegasus, having large gold wings. There is a man riding in a fantasy animal shaped cart with reins on the Pegasus animal pulling the cart. So much detailing in this work of art. This box has the iconic Limoges gold metal trim and flower clasp. It measures approximately 2-1/4" widest x 1-3/4" depth x 1 height. NO cracks, chips, crazing nor damage or loss to the handpainting. The photos as they are, give you a good idea as to what you will receive.
