Le Tallec Limoges Corail Chinois Tiffany Hand Painted 1978 Large Trinket Box

  

Prestigious French Studio owned by Tiffany & Co. I finally decided to liquidate my Camille Le Tallec collection. I will try to list them as soon as I can in the next few weeks.

The last picture shows more items in the same pattern I have available for sale. I would love to find a good home for them altogether and will give you a nice discount to make it worth your while. The original pattern was made at Sevres for the Semonville family and dates from around 1780, the end of the Louis XVI period, according to the collectors book by Waterbrook-Clyde (shown in some of the pictures).

The book is not included. 3 1/2L x 2 3/4W x 1 ½T. The base is 3 1/4L x 2 1/4W. Marked on bottom of box. Par Le Tallec à Paris.

L and T (in script) with W in between which dated it to 1978. Condition: This box is in great condition for being over 37 years old. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing, no design loss. No gold wear noticed with my naked eyes. Might have slight tarnish on the metal part if any.

Box opens and shuts perfectly. PLEASE LOOK AT THE MANY PICTURES FOR DETAILS AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF please excuse the dark spot on the left of the center due to my faulty camera. There are actually no spots on the item itself.
