Very Rare Atelier Camille Le Tallec Limoges Porcelain Trinket Box, circa 1942 Collector Piece. Each Le Tallec creation is a One of A Kind artistic creation. You will Not Find Another like it for sale, anywhere! Decorator La Tallec Limoges pieces are all hand-painted. They have been around since the 1930's and were taken over by Tiffany & co.

In the 1950's, those pieces are marked with Tiffany's name, this piece is not. La Tallec produce some of the most expensive and world renown porcelain in the world. Stunning Details with raised grapes and berries. Signed par Le Tallec à Paris France with decorator's initials SF.

The single letter d in between the LT motif in a Sèvres-like mark, dates this piece to 1942 using their letter dating system. The artists initials SF under the mark and date letter was one of the distinguish artist of Le Tallec. The Limoges France mark identifies the location where the piece was made.

Many Le Tallec Pieces are listed with incorrect dates, to verify, simply search (le tallec date chart) and see the chart at Wikipedia. This is an Intricate hand-painted pattern of blue flowers intertwined with raised gold grapes and berries on vines, in High end quality fashion these pieces are well known for. The hinge mount is bronze with flower clasp. Decorators mark painted on inside top and bottom of a gold design.

This piece measures 2 ½ wide, just over 1 ¾ deep and 1 ¼ tall. The condition of the piece is Vintage excellent with no chips, no noticed grazing or cracks. The hardware shows signs of wear in the color typical for its age. See all pictures as they are part of our description.
