Authentic Limoges Box Peint Main PV- France Mama Bluebird and Babies in Nest
Very sweet, authentic Limoges box from the now-defunct (for many years) PV Company of France. A mama bluebird is in her nest, feeding her two hungry baby birds, their mouths wide open.
You can almost hear their little chirps! As usual with these vintage PV Company Limoges boxes, the hand-painted detailing is on-point, especially so on the nest and the mama bird's feathers. The clasp is a bouquet of sunflowers - Very beautiful! This Limoges box measures 2 1/2" x 1 3/4", and it is 2 1/4 tall, including the mama bird's uplifted tail.
