Wonderful, authentic Limoges box, from the esteemed Rochard Company of France, of a pink, black-spotted pig, a breed that is a favorite of the French people. The hand-painted shading on the pig's spots, and on the rocky patch of dirt the pig is standing on, is outstanding!

The interior features a hand-painted, black silhouette of a mama pig and her baby against a fence. The clasp is a beautiful leaf. The oval base measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/2', and it is 1 1/4" in height.
