Antique Limoges Signed-trinket Box 2 Glass Vials Gilded Porcelain Artist Signed

  

This is an original authentic handmade French vintage or antique Limoges trinket box that is "hand signed Limoges"along with the artist's signature on the bottom as well. This Trinket Box has two glass bottles. Measurements:1 4/5"top to bottom, side is 1 4/5".

Narrow side from bottom to top, 1 4/5 " from front bottom, the top front is 1 5/10"across the top, the floral top is 1 5/10", the bottom is 1 5/20" by 1 3/8", the bottom inside is 13/16" deep, the top is 5/8deep. This is very rare to find the original vials included. These are in excellent shape with no hairline fractures, chips, cracks, etc.. There are 2 individual glass bottles with threaded vintage screw tops with the original hallmarks consisting of 4 numbers on the base and also the other original hallmarks on each base that are not legible.

There are plastic or celluloid funnels which are used to collect any liquid, including perfumes, etc. From the glass bottles that are attached to the threaded screw celluloid (or plastic)tops that have threaded screw tops to the glass jars that measure 1 4/5 tall. These are in excellent shape with porcelain interiors in the top and bottom. The gold gilding is in the interior base and on the inside top interior.

This has a substantial rim on the bottom of the lower base and on the bottom of the top base that snap together perfectly secure with a heavy hinge on the backside for extra strength. There is a wonderful handmade hand made floral addition in the center of the front to hold this securely in place. The interior top lid is completely gilded with a hand painted floral design. I believe this is (gold gilded all over with hand painting)On the bottom is hand signed "Limoges", along with the artist's signature that appears to read"Cpeint MainJe 2" on the bottom as well. I have owned this for over 50 plus years. I sell only in the U. This is all complete with no issues. The gilding along with the excellent hand painting is superior. The white spots showing are from the reflection of the camera lens.
