Antique France Limoges Signed Perfume Trinket Box 2 #glass Bottles Hand-painted

  

An appraised antique or vintage original Limoges trinket box that was hand-made in France. This has the original artist's signature on the bottom (pictured)of the perfume porcelain trinket box. This has the 2 individual perfume jars with the individual vials inside each.

The 2 glass bottles inside are in excellent shape and both bottles have the hallmarked numbers on the bottom of each, barely legible, nonetheless they are there, pictured. Measurements:1 4/5"top to bottom, the side is 1 4/5". The narrow side from bottom to top, 1 4/5 " from front bottom, the top front is 1 5/10"across the top, the floral top is 1 5/10", the bottom is 1 5/20" by 1 3/8", the bottom inside is 13/16" deep, the top is 5/8deep. These 2 interior glass individual perfume bottles have the original celluloid (or plastic)threaded screw tops with 4 numbered hallmarks on each base that are barely legible. There are interior plastic or celluloid funnels inside the perfume bottles.

The tops of the interior glass bottles have threaded screw tops that measure 1 4/5 tall. This is gold gilded that is hand painted in the interior base and on the inside top interior. This has a substantial rim on the bottom of the lower base and on the bottom of the top base that snap together perfectly with a heavy hinge on the backside for extra strength. There is a wonderful hand painted floral addition in the center of the front to hold this securely in place.

The interior top lid is completely hand painted with a floral design with the bottom that is hand signed "Limoges", along with the artist signature that appears to read"Cpeint MainJe 2". I sell only in the U. This has been verified and documented (appraised)for authenticity.
