Vintage Limoges Rochard Peint Main Hand Painted and Signed Blue Bird House trinket box in mint condition. This little bird house trinket box features a blue roof with delicate colorful flowers painted on the edge as well as flowers around the bottom of the bird house. There is a cute little blue bird peeking out of the bird house with a gold perch underneath the bird. The house and base is painted a beautiful pale yellow. There is a brass edging on the top and bottom of the opening which shows no tarnish at all... The clasp on the edging is a little bird. When you open the clasp and peek inside, there is a little bird on the inside bottom sitting on a branch. This is such a charming piece and a work of art. Measures: 2" tall x 2" high x 2 deep.
