This marvelous depiction of Earth and space is no exception. This artists interpretation is of Earth done is wonderful shades of blues, greens, with hints of golden yellow.

On top of the Earth are tiny dots of texture done in white to simulate the ice caps, each continent is labeled, in french. Around the globe is a planet (mars perhaps) with images of our iconic space shuttle rocketing towards it.

Inside is a tiny removable moon and a message "protect our planet". The clasp is the planet Saturn. This is not a small piece measuring approx 3 in diameter it will stand out in any collection. A wonderful artists design of space exploration and whimsy.
