Genuine limoges porcelain music box features a hand painted egg and when opened reveals a beautiful white Siamese Cat or Kitten that when turned plays. The box is hinged with a clasp in the shape of the butterfly and measures approximately 2.5 inches in diameter and 3.5 inches tall. The box is painted on all sides, authenticating markings, including artist's initials -"Peint main limoges France cmg"- are painted on the bottom of the box. The box was manufactured by the studio of Fanex in France. The box is new and comes with a certificate of authentication and pretty gift box.
