Antique French Limoges Hand Painted Porcelain Trinket/Jewelry Box/Dresser Signed
Hand Decorated Porcelain Trinket/Jewelry Box/Dresser with Hinged Cover. Dark red edge with gilt, octagonal form, the center lid hand painted with a mythological scene, signed lower right, marked on the bottom, the interior painted with flowers, gilt metal trim and clasp. Measurement: 8 ½ x 8 ¼ x 2 ¾ in. Condition: Overall it is in good condition. There are no chips, cracks in the porcelain. It seems the restoration was on the top of the box (See pictures). The metal rims, apparently brass or gilded bronze, are in very good condition and the hinges and clasp are secure and in good working order.
